About the group
The Greening Wadsworth Group was set up by Wadsworth Community Association, with the ambitious aim of making Wadsworth the greenest parish in the country. The group says, what is important is that we want to work together with all Wadsworth residents to raise our knowledge about what we can do to help tackle climate change, limit the damage we might be doing to the planet and hopefully save some money in the process.
The project has got off to a flying start with regular well-attended meetings and talks including topics such as domestic heat pumps, solar and climate science. The group also runs a thermal imaging project whereby residents can have their homes surveyed with thermal imaging cameras to help reveal where their home is losing heat and learn about possible solutions and insulation.
